About Michelle
Michelle started grooming when she was 15 years old for a show kennel in California. In 1998,
she opened Best Friends Grooming Salon in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In 2003 she began
offering spa treatments and aromatherapy to her clients. Then in 2005, she began lecturing
at nationwide industry grooming conventions, helping groomers to step into the spa
concepts with their own salons.
Michelle believes that "knowledge is power" and commits herself to attending educational
classes each year to improve her grooming skills as well as learning about products that are
best for her clients. She has groomed several best in show dogs over her grooming career and
treats each dog just as if it was a top contender for the Westminster.
In the summer of 2007, Texas welcomed
Michelle to The Woodlands and now
grooms in her new shop, Pink Poodle Spa
in Old Town Spring.
Michelle has six children, three
grandchildren, an Australian Sheperd
and yes, a even Pink Standard Poodle!
